What exactly are nanoparticles? What is meant by “exposure”? When do toxicologists speak of a risk? This and many more questions regarding research on safety aspects of nanomaterials are answered here: www.nanoobjects.info
The European NanoSafety-Cluster (NSC) has recently published the Autumn 2017 issue of its bulletin and newsletter compilation outlining recent NSC news, project news, up-coming events and research opportunities. The issue focuses new developments within the Nanosafety Cluster, report on the NSC Steering Group Face-to-Face Meeting & ECHA Data Harmonisation Workshop, results from the EU Projects NanoDefine, OpenRiskNet and forthcoming events including the OpenTox2017 and the start of the NSC webinar series.
The complete bulletin (PDF, 1.7 MB) is available for download via http://www.nanosafetycluster.eu/uploads/files/NSC_Newsletter/NSC_Autumn2017_Bulletin.pdf
